Amphora, the Society's journal, presents original articles,
interviews and departments focusing on the world of the book arts:
collecting, typography, typesetting, calligraphy, papermaking,
ornamentation, illustration, printing and binding.
The publication has been in print since 1967, and is typically published 3 times a year in spring, summer, and fall. All members receive Amphora, plus occasional keepsakes and printed ephemera. See Membership for details on joining the Society and receiving Amphora. Limited advertising space is available.
The Alcuin Society has one complete set of every issue of Amphora available for sale, dating back to 1967, ideally suited for libraries and scholars of fine printing. The cost is $1,500, plus shipping charges (free pickup available). Contact us to learn more about this opportunity.
