The Alcuin Society has recently established its own endowment with the
Vancouver Foundation. If you would like to help this fund grow and thus provide,
in perpetuity, a steady income flow to support the activities of Alcuin please
consider making a tax deductible donation of any amount.
You my contribute online at
vancouverfoundation.ca by specifying you are giving to the Alcuin Fund;
or if you prefer you may send a cheque to The Vancouver Foundation, Suite
1200-555 W. Hastings St, Vancouver, B.C., V6B 4N6, again specifying it is for
the Alcuin Fund. In either case your tax receipt will be issued promptly by
Vancouver Foundation, Canada's largest community foundation.
Please note some generous members already send us money, often along with their membership. We encourage those members to continue to help us in our operating costs. This appeal is for funds that will be endowed and produce a guaranteed, annual, revenue stream.
Aeroplan Air Miles Donations
We're also pleased to announce you can now donate Aeroplan Miles to our
Society's account. It's quite simple, and you can donate at any time of the year
(minimum 1,000 miles per donation).
Here's the bonus for donors - donating means that there is "action" on an
account, and that will keep an account current that might otherwise expire. To

These donations are a great assistance to our annual book design competition, as
we must provide airfare to Vancouver for three judges selected from across
Canada. A special thanks to all those who have donated in the past, and we're
grateful for all those who will consider this donation method for the future!
