Curious about Amphora?

Members of the Alcuin Society have no doubt been missing Amphora issues in their mailbox since the last issue was mailed in June 2024. Unanticipated family obligations over the past year that required editorial staff take a leave of absence have upended Amphora’s publishing schedule. Our Editor, Peter Mitham, is currently completing the next two issues, and our Assistant Editor, Ágnes Cserháti, has taken on additional responsibilities for finishing the following three issues. Alcuin Society remains committed to three issues per calendar year and a timely publishing timetable. We appreciate the patience of readers and contributors waiting for Amphora’s reappearance.
